We're talking about little'ol'me comin' to visit Planet Houston on the 24th. Well, well. Guess who's playin' not a couple hours away that night. Is that not the stars above a smilin' down; all the angels gathered'round, showerin' all their beauty down? Okay, maybe not, but it's a nice thought. Let's go get saved. Tomorrow night, uh, tonight, is all about more live music. It's been October since I last saw a Hyaline show (http://www.hyalineband.com). It's been too long. Their recent gigs are all new music from their soon to be in my hot little hands second album. I'm really looking forward to it. Dan, their drummer, and Zombie Night regular, might be bringing me a live recording of the gig I saw at The Roxy. They opened that show with a prog-nu-metal rendition of the theme to John Carpenter's Halloween. Fuckin'A. Sent chills up my spine. They're playing at the Viper Room this time which I'm sure is famous for something other than being the spot River Phoenix dropped dead in front of, but I can't remember what that might be at this time.
