Dude, I just clicked on the WTF link. I concur. How fucking obnoxious is that? Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it shows a staggering lack of taste. It does nothing for their cause.
I was privy to a little discussion recently, a continuation of one actually, where this person was theorizing that society might be “evolving” to be more “open minded”. One of the effects of this process would be the elimination of old-fashioned ideals like monogamy and marriage. I was more than a little disturbed by it but not surprised.
For me, however, the term “evolution” implies improvement. I think the term they were really looking for was ENTROPY. People are just more fucked up now than they’ve ever been because they’re more bored and damaged than they’ve ever been. Shit.

If women can convince themselves that they have done no wrong, and to be proud of their decision and proclaim it without shame, then it relieves them of their pain & sorrow. If the procedure is merely a choice like any other, ketchup or mustard, then there is no guilt or grief attached.
How very very sad it is for a mother to be proud of such a death.
