Worked until 7:30 tonight. Suck. I've been doing a lot of reading on how to supplement your income with photography. It's pretty rough. I find myself daydreaming and grasping at the furthest fetched ideas of how to get out from under the IT stranglehold. Oh sweet Lotto, where art thou? Another day is gone. Before I know it, it'll be time to work again. What a way to spend my days.
At least your money-making schemes involve a talent that people will pay for. The IT grind sure does get you thinking about how to make more money. My latest thought on the subject was to become sponsored to writeon my weblog. Unfortunately that would require both a) people reading my weblog and b) some stupid corporation who would feel the need to sponsor me.
Now certainly it could be done, but it would require a site with a lot more traffic than mine. Antipixel, Kottke, Megnut, any of the real “players” could do it.
The only other thing I possibly have going for me is writing Plugins and selling them (but that is just mean) or contracting out my services as a designer (which are fairly poor at the moment).
So yes…

So this guy dies and has an audience with God upon arriving in Heaven. He asks God, “You know I don’t mean to complain, but I led an exceptionally clean, moral, and good life. I was humble and never asked for much. But in trying to provide for my family, I always did struggle financially. Couldn’t you have let me win the lotto or somthing?”
And God replied, “Well, do you think just ONCE you could have bought a lotto ticket?!?”
