What a full weekend this
What a full weekend this was! Friday afternoon I headed down to the Flying Saucer for some brewhaha with colleagues from the office. They have this "new" thing called "The Monster" they didn't have when I last went. It is basically a cylindrical tube of glass with a draft tap on the bottom. It holds about 3 pitchers of beer and sits on it's own pedestal stand. Excellent. They will fill it with anything they have on tap (did someone say Guinness?). Nifty little contraption. Saturday morning was the first quality photography time I've had in almost a week. I spent a few hours at the Arboretum on the north side of town. Saturday evening started with a nice dinner at Perry's in the Woodlands and ended back at our place with friend's over for libations by the chiminea on our back patio. It was a lot of fun. Sunday was the baby stepped beginning of moving my home office upstairs and turning the room in which it currently resides into a photography studio. We headed south toward the beach in the afternoon for a 40 pound crawfish boil at Mike's pad. Good food, conversation, and a lot of partying going on down in the Friendswood/League City/Clear Lake area last night. It was an awesome afternoon despite the drive. Mike and I live on opposite sides of town... in the same metro area... Houston... yeah... 100 miles round trip from my door to his. Crazy. This morning got the week rolling with a meeting. All Monday's should start with a meeting to set the tone for the week. I hate meetings. I feel like I'm lagging behind in the consumption of coffee. Ugg. Really, I've been so unmotivated to write anything on this site. I feel like I don't have the time to think these days. Perhaps it's just the time of year? I mean, I notice a lot of people "neglecting" their blogs and such. Who knows? Anyhoo, I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Must have just missed you Friday night, I was there as well.
