We're home. We spent a lot of money. It was nice, but not. I liked that Sean and I were doing "bonding" shit together, but I would have rather us had a night like last night. I'm not going to talk about it. Let's just say that it was mindless entertainment that was less than satisfying and if given a list of 10 things to do tonight, this would be the one on the bottom. John was driving us, so we were sorta captive. I love Sean though and no matter where we go, we at least have a decent time. Did I mention we drank? Geeee... I hardly ever do that.... oh well, sleepytime.
We’re off to see and hear Herbie Hancock play acoustic piano in a park next to Paris, a twenty-minute stroll from our house
Bringing watermelon to wave in the air in time to the music
Nice way to forget about smallpox war risks

Yeah, less that satisfying. Good and bad. A contrast to Friday night. I liked that you got me to do things that normally aren’t “me” though. Adventure. I can always count on my brutha for adventure. I don’t fight it too hard. I know I’ll survive. It’s just so comfortable inside my shell. I have everything I need. Mostly. It’s nice outside sometimes though, when you know someone’s got your back and isn’t going to let you stray too far. It’s so fun hangin’ with my alter-ego.
It would have been better if it was just you and I, I agree. Though, I have to admit, I can only enjoy stuff like last night with altered brain chemistry. Friday night I know would make my top 5 greatest experiences of a lifetime with or without technology. Last night the truth serum of liquor was the only thing making the lies of that establishment palatable.
I’ll always take care of you. :)
Bollocks to the crowd next time… Friday rawked… Saturday sucked.
