This is what happens when you send Melly on a shopping spree in Tulsa. It accessorizes the notorious Deep Ellum "pink shirt" well, no? I was fresh out of feather boas. You know, maybe I'm really wearing an Armani suit and I'm just hallucinating from turkey overdose... could be. Did I mention that Sean hooked up some tickets to the Deep Ellum Live date for the Toadies pseudo-reunion show? So this means I'm going to make the 26th show and the 30th show! I'm really excited about that... Guy is playing down the road from my house on the 12th and the Burden Brothers are playing the 13th at Stubb's with Baboon opening for them (excellent!) and again on the 14th at the Engine Room. December is going to be a fucktabulous music month! I'm going to miss the Asylum Street Spankers on the 6th at Rudyard's though... tis ok however, because as much as I dig the Spankers, I'll be on a plane to Colorado... and that is amazing. Sam and I are going biking in the morning in Worda. There is a 10 or 11 mile circuit offroad at this ranch he knows about... we're going to hit the trail early morning. Hopefully I won't have another spectacular crash like I did at Double Lake. Ouch.
