The first day back at work is always a bear. I managed to make it without too much struggle because my boss(es) were still out of vacation so I could work without interruption. It's amazing how productive one can be with real work when not constantly bothered with busy-work. I had a great lunch with Bob and Joe after a morning that flew by only to return to an office with clocks dipped in molasses. I did some online Christmas shopping while waiting on some queries clogging progress. I broke down and finally ordered a replacement tripod for my flimsy broken ass hunk-o-dung. It is a painful purchase... such a necessity, but was really difficult to convince myself to go through with it. I think it's because professional camera and lens support comes with a professional price tag. I'm starting to do holiday portraits for friends and with the weather looking more like winter each week, the home studio is ramping up. EL has been busting her ass getting ready for this craft show this weekend were we'll have a bunch of custom art cards made with my photos. It should be fun. I wonder if I can drink while sitting at our "table". I can see it now, "Hey, have you seen the drunk guy's photos?" Speaking of drinking... there is a glass of red wine calling me.
Oh, and one last thing before I scoot...
