Thanks Lisa… it’s a green tree python currently living at the Dallas Aquarium. When they are babies, they can be red or yellow… sometimes brownish. They get turn shades of green as adults. I am not a snake person, but I love the colors in this guy. I took two photographs of this snake while in Dallas. The other shot is still in “negative” form (the RAW file), so I don’t know if it turned out better than this one or not. This is actually a cropped frame. The full image includes a couple of loops over the log he is hanging on. Here is a link to some more info on the colors.
