On a serious note, the state-level "Super DMCA" (S-DMCA) legislation that is being pressure sold by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) is pissing me off. Basically, the MPAA is trying to get Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas to adopt legislation that would have "serious consequences for freedom of speech, encryption, and the public's rights"... including making firewalls illegal! Fucking ridiculous. Check it out.

I hate the MPAA for many, many reasons... this one is now at the top of my list.
