I was snacking on some

I was snacking on some fresh Bing cherries and started thinking about peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I used to eat these all the time as a kid and decided that I must have one immediately. I remember The King used to love them grilled (ala grilled cheese), but I've never tried it that way. Maybe some day I'll try the Graceland tribute, but today it was just as plain and good as I remembered.

Don’t forget the pork!  Elvis had his PB & banana sam’ich with bacon, and I can vouch that it tastes *great*, grilled or not.

Used to love PB as a child, but now can’t stand it!  But, when I used to eat it, banana and PB were a fave!  A pregnant friend mine made this sandwich:  wheat bread, banana, PB, alfalfa sprouts and a healthy drizzle of honey.

If you have not tried pb with a little bit of maple syrup mixed in, you have yet to live.

believe what you will, but I actually had one of these sandwiches yesterday, and it’s been years.  even toasted the bread.  I am amazed at the synchronicities of the universe.
