I took a handful of

I took a handful of snaps after I got off the bus this afternoon to familiarize myself with the control input. Almost all of them were trashed. It seems that I get caught up in what I'm framing and lose sight of the attention to detail required in driving the camera. It is definitely going to take some time. If it isn't a focus issue, it's an exposure issue. Arg! Practice is what I need... practice.

whoa nelly! Is that with the new camera?! Gawd I hate you. ;-)

That’s spectacular. Really. Even if that’s the only one that came out, I’d say it was worth it.

terribly out of focus… you can’t really see in the small image here, but the entire focal plane is skewed across the image (ie. far eye in focus and near wing, etc.)

This could have been corrected with some forethought on my part. I was just giggling and snapping away… better shots to come.

Isn’t giggling and snapping what it’s all about? :)

picky, picky. I can’t tell. Maybe my eyesight is poor, but I think it’s fab. I love the colours.
