I often wonder how we
I often wonder how we evolved into a society where work begins so early each day. I think things would be so much easier if we all slept until our bodies naturally awakened and work just kinda happened later. A big, smooth transition into the whole work mode. What the hell is up with "hit the ground running"?
I’ve tried that working theory out, and I rarely made it to work, until there was no work to make it to. Sad thing, really. It held such promise.
Now, I go into the office on time, but I don’t mentally wake up and do any real work until close to lunch time. Makes my days much shorter and more productive (for the time actually spent working, anyway).
