I left work early today
I left work early today to buy an bike. I ended up getting a schweeet Gary Fisher Marlin for commuting to work. I live about 8 miles or so from my office, so I decided that I am going to start riding to work instead of driving/carpooling everyday. Anyhoo, that’s why I picked up a new bike. I had to run a few errands (woo hoo!) and then stopped for happy hour with Sam after that… the week of corporate slavery is over, and so is the corporate dresscode. I went to Dirk’s for dinner… he makes excellent salsa. It’s hard to find salsa hot enough these days. Mike called and said that the Avalos brothers (a.k.a. Cheech and Chong) were meeting for some kind of Hawaiian thing on Richmond (no idea what the place is called). He’s going to come by and pick me up… I should probably stay home instead, but if I took all of my own advice, my life wouldn’t be quite so interesting these days. I’m an idiot… but an idiot that is about to have some fun. Tee hee…
