I heard on the radio
I heard on the radio this morning that 2400 of Houston's estimated 12,000 homeless are children under age 13. I struggled to convince myself to come to work today. I am still feeling miserable, but can't afford to take a vacation day to recuperate. I've been eating vitamin C like mad. My chest is tight and I can't seem to relax... on top of being sick with some sort of flu-like symptoms. Sometime between now and tomorrow I have to finish a boatload of paperwork. I have decided to have my resume online again by the end of the week. The weather is fabulous this morning. The air is cool and crisp... the humidity is down. It is the type of fall morning I miss from from living up north. Tick tock. The day continues.
