I had this mad rush
I had this mad rush this morning to get something in the mail before the post office closed. Like an idiot, I forgot that non-standard sized cards or letters that have sides of equal length cost 49 cents to mail instead of 37 because they confuse the automatic sorting optical scanners at the post office and must be manually routed. The bottom line was a long line at the post office. I should have mailed it yesterday. Camron and I went by Maria Elena and Jean-Paul's house to drop off some homemade tortillas she brought them from Ingleside. I briefly shopped for a new camera, but the crowded stores and pressure salesmen faking holiday cheer were rubbing me the wrong way, so I decided that this had to either wait for another day or be done online. I'm open to suggestions... Sam has a really cool Konica and Audra's Canon is spiffy as well. I'm not too picky as long as the CCD is of good quality for the resolution. I picked up some movies and groceries for a quiet night at home. Ever since I came back from Colorado, I really haven't felt much like going out and being social. I guess I just need some rest. I'm diggin' all this left over turkey. Speaking of...
