Excellent evening. I left work right on time (a rare event with obligatory celebration). I caught a ride with Joe and Dirk to Blanco’s. This is not the ideal spot for me, but it holds it’s own as a local watering hole despite the fact that you have a better chance of winning the lotto than getting a Grey Goose martini while visiting. Anyhoo, let me take a moment to say to Nicole (or Nicole’s mom :-)… there are entirely too many days between Wednesday night and Tuesday afternoon. Anyhoo, we ended up going to Chuy’s for dinner. I was so hungry that Taco Bell would have been sufficient. Joe was feeling really tired, so we just headed home after that… they dynamic duo lives about 3 blocks from me, so they just dropped me off on their way. I am still driving Doc Martins, so I appreciated the ride. Éclair is so awesome. I’ll probably go buy a digital camera this week just so I can show you guys some pics of Éclair, Penny, and Bianca (my dog and two cats). Sleepytime…
