Driving home from work, I stopped at Michael's (the craft store, not the
dude) for some photo frames. In the middle of the parking lot I turned and rush for the car to get the camera just as the evening sky exploded. I took a series of photos at low shutter speed handheld... mostly 1/20 or below. A local photographer that shoots
Hasselblad medium and large format exclusively approached me and we chatted... mostly about how she was pissed that she didn't have a camera with her.
The color and saturation of these photos is unaltered... this is exactly how the sky looked.
Nifty.
beautiful

Who knew you could see California burning up all the way in Houston.

Actually, my dream camera lies here.
If the camera body alone wasn’t $8000.00, I’d have one.
Stunning. I love the colors. The first pic is brilliant.
We had a sunset like that the same day here in Atlanta! Not as vibrant, but a rare treat here…
I love all these pictures on your site these days… we need a cute one of you & EL!
Well, I wouldn’t say it’s cute, but there was one a week or two ago…
