Always look both ways before

Always look both ways before crossing the street... and apparently while crossing the street.

I sure as hell hope that was CGI. If not, I have GOT to stop coming here...ugh.

I’m thinking it’s an effect.  If the cars are digital I’m seriously impressed, but I’m thinking the dude wasn’t really there.  He wouldn’t have just disappeared.  People turn into rag dolls in these situations, they don’t disintegrate.

P.S. Have a nice vacation, C.

(hehe - “have a nice...” always invokes the voice of George Carlin doing his “have a nice day” routine)

Sean - to me it looked like the guy was still in the picture, just right of the car and laying on the ground. Or do my eyes deceive me?

I went back to look at it again but it appears to have been taken down?  Strange things happen in cases like this but I’m thinking he should have been thrown to the left.  Or we should have seen him fly up and flopping around.

Also, think about it, why is someone videotaping this intersection?  They’re lucky enough to catch not only a collision but a pedestrian getting hit?  I didn’t back up to see if there was any backstory to the video so perhaps there is an explanation but I’m very skeptical.  The PT Cruiser also looks a tad...shiny.  It seems too set up to me.
