There is nothing special about

There is nothing special about this photo... I don't really care for it actually. It's plain and uninteresting. The one thing that I really like about it however, is that you can't reasonably drive from Houston and see this expanse of wild and untamed wilderness. Minnesota wild... kinda like Colorado wild. I need to get out of here. I was reminded this morning amongst horns blasting and blinker ignoring. The sheer volume of fucktards on the road in Houston just floors me. How do these people get driver's licenses in the first place? So anyway, I'm going to spend my free time (if any exists) today looking at land in the big C. O.

ps. this shot was from a lookout vantage atop Moose Mountain in Lutsen, MN

I finally got the kinks

I finally got the kinks worked out of the Panotools/PTAssembler combo with autopano and enblend plug-ins, so I re-did the Colorado panos from this summer here:

28.9MP horizontal panorama

45.4MP vertical panorama
I've decided that one of my things-to-do is to document the Rocky Mountains with ultra-high resolution panoramic photography and make a coffee table book. Why not? Obviously, I have some work to do before I am ready to start, but it is on the radar now. Mark my words.
