Happy Birthday Mom! I love

Happy Birthday Mom! I love you! These ladybug larvae are eating feeding in the crepe myrtle in your backyard by the way:

I know it's not really what you wanted to hear on your birthday, but you're just gonna have to wait until I see you next for your real present! Have a wonderful day!

Eclair
The concert was loud. Awesome show, but my ears are still ringing. Heh. Henry is doing much better now in his surgery recovery. EL and I each bought a set of golf clubs and have been going to the range. If it's on a tee, I can hit it. If it's on the the ground, I have difficulty. I'm such a beginner. The lawn guys came and did their SWAT team action on the yard. It looks great, so I think I'll go enjoy it. Pei Wei for lunch today... I can't wait. Cheers!

IF YOU’RE GOING TO HEAVEN

IF YOU'RE GOING TO HEAVEN (VTL) If you're going to heaven And you think you know the way Please show me the right direction And I'll follow you I won't let you get away When your heart is sad and heavy You hide your face behind your hands If you take a chance and let me I'll come with you I will always be your man I don't need your attention Don't need your pity or your grief I'm not a slave to your affection I'm a slave to your belief So if you're going heaven Say you won't leave me behind ‘Cause without you I'm as helpless As a little child I need you by my side I don't need your attention Don't need your pity or your grief I'm not a slave to your affection I'm a slave to your belief If you're going to heaven And you're sure you know the way Please show me the right direction And I'll follow you I won't let you get away

Yesterday was a sad and trying day. Henry went into surgery in the morning to take care of a few "things". I was more worried about the anesthesia than the procedure as he is so very small. He's home now, but quite stoned. I don't know what kind of doggie-heroin they gave him, but he is on some other planet even still this morning. Last night, we found out Theo died. He was my father-in-law's hound dog... a wonderful, gentle pet. He was a true companion for Bob. I feel terrible for his loss. On a happier note, my brother Sean has a female companion-type person that he is quasi-courting for the moment. He deserves a great woman. I hope I don't have to chop her up and chum for Gulf sharks with her if she break his heart. I'm not serious. But if you want to hear something serious, check this out. "Lapses in equipment cleaning at a Long Island hospital might have exposed 180 people to HIV and hepatitis viruses, the New York Times said Wednesday. The North Shore University Hospital notified patients last week they might have been exposed to infection because instruments used for routine endoscopies might not have been properly disinfected." That sucks. I heard on the radio that Velvet Revolver canceled last night's Austin show because Scott Weiland has bronchitis or something. Mike and I have seats at the sold out Houston show for tonight, but there hasn't been any word released as to it's status. We'll see.

This is hilarious. So, they've come out with this new pill you can get for your dog or cat (called Capstar) that will instantly (within 30 minutes of consumption) kill every flea on their body. Freaky.

I am slowly feeling better.

I am slowly feeling better. My fever ran for a couple of days in varying intensity. No other symptoms really other than weakness. I did have a headache yesterday afternoon, but EL hooked my up with a 1 hour massage at the salon down the street and that helped a lot. I managed to even feel well enough to make it back into the gym at lunch today. Baby steps. Anyhoo, I'm really getting excited for our vacation. Henry goes under the knife tomorrow for the snippage of the beans. Poor peanut... we haven't had the heart to tell him yet. I had a safety inspection in my office today. Apparently, it's safe. Not much else going on in my slow recovery world. I should be good as new by tomorrow. I hope.

I've been sick. Yesterday, my temp stayed between 101F and 102F all day. I went to work in the morning after a night of chills and unrest, but left before lunch for sleep. Other than being up briefly last night, I slept from the time I got home yesterday morning until this morning. I had to come in today because of some testing that is going on and no one else is around to support it. I feel like I could sleep some more... ugh. I am not sure, but I think my fever is down significantly. I still feel very weak.

OMG. This makes me want

OMG. This makes me want to cry. The sharpest lens Canon has ever manufactured... ever... since the beginning of the corporation to date... a lens that is coveted and sought after by Canon pro-shooters because they do not make them any more... you can only find used ones with various degrees of wear and tear... and then comes this. I'm sick to my stomach that I can't buy it. It's in Texas no less. Ugh! I want to curl up and take a nap and forget I ever saw it.
